The Royal Mint is proud to mark the 50th Anniversary of the WWF with a specially designed commemorative 50p coin featuring 50 carefully selected icons representing the vital work they do. Show your support with this special commemorative pack.
On the reverse show selection of stylised icons to represent the various facets of the WWF, shapes that would complement the WWF logo, but shapes that would be recognisable at a very small size, and it seemed appropriate that there should be 50 of these icons in total. If you peer closely, you’ll see that the design features mammals, birds, fish, insects and lizards, fruit, seeds, trees and plants, and icons representing the human impact; farming, transport, renewable energy sources and the home.
